Father to His Daughter

An endless dream of wandering,
And I'm left here wondering -
How will I disappear?
Is it going to be just how I fear?
You hate me because I lied,
Daughter, I'm sorry but it's my time.

I can't live forever,
Nobody lives forever.
I told you what you wanted to hear,
Didn't want you to fear.
I'm dying, I'm going away.

I died alone on a Sunday,
I'll rebirth again someday.
You'll see me going away,
You'll hold my hand one last time today.
It's okay if you say you won't miss me,
I don't want you to grieve for me.
